Green ~ The Color of Spring

Angela at Cottage Magpie, a wonderful blog, has asked everyone to share pictures of green from their home. You can see I like green since it's my background color! Here are a handful of green things in my home...

First there's this pitcher with the pale green hydrangea I just added. This is in my front room where I've been trying to pull in some green.

Next are these cute majolica dishes I've just recently got. It started with the plate, and then I added the bowls. I have a feeling this collection could grow!

Here is some green pottery.

Now we'll go to my little girl's room, which is all done in pale pink and very pale green. These are so pale they almost look white in the pics, but they really are green. Her dust rufle is in the same pale green plaid...

And now to my son's room, which has quite a bit of green. I started collecting penants for his walls a couple years ago. We try to get one whenever we're on vacation...

Of course he has lots of these...

And here are some pillows from his bed...

And of course, there's lots of green outside! I'll leave you with a picture of the very tall redwood tree that's in front of the house. Can't wait to see everyone else's green! If you'd like to share yours, go on over to Cottage Magpie and play along!

Hello, hello Mrs. B! Your green post is beautiful. I'm loving the majolica! Yes, grow your collection and then post it so we can all drool over it. That sounds like a fabulous idea! What kind of hydrangea is that? I have some limelight hydrangeas but they are not near that pale. These pale green blossoms are just gorgeous! Have a wonderful evening, Mrs. B!

Love, Katie

I love those two green vases on the shelf. They are just fabulous together. I love the way the cool and warm greens play off each other.

I enjoyed all of the entries in Cottage Magpie's Green Roundup so much that I'm adding a post to my blog about it too.
